Mystery Puzzle SPOILER #39-41

Warning! This post contains spoilers to a series of mystery puzzles.

This week's puzzles are Murder, She Wrote Mystery Puzzle series.  The solutions to the puzzles are NOT on the box. They are either 500-750 piece puzzles based on the publisher.  The series was also adapted into a computer game that you could listen to the voice actors and then solve the puzzle on your computer.

The story is interesting as most Jessica Fletcher stories are.  There are subtle clues in the story and several in each puzzle picture that lead you to the concussion.

I solved all four via the computer games and "The Art of Murder" puzzle in person.

Find a download and description of the "Murder, She Wrote: Mystery Jigsaw Puzzles Download (1996 Puzzle Game)"

To see a play through of the "The Unconventional Murders" here is video:

A different puzzle solution for the actual puzzle for "The Unconventional Murders"

The "Recipe for Murder" puzzles are slightly different between the actual puzzle and the video game.  Both have the same solution.

  1. My mom and I just put together and solved the "Art of Murder" puzzle. We're confused, though. SPOILER ALERT: The solution booklet claims that "Barbara" appears on the storyboard while "Barbra" appears on the memo pad. We see "Barbra" on the memo pad, but we've looked and looked and looked and don't see any reference to "Barbara" on the storyboard. Do you recall having this same issue? If so, this is a BIG mistake by the puzzle manufacturer!

  2. I felt that the Petrol was a better clue. I agree that the Barbara misspelling didn't standout/exist for me either.
